Basin Butte Pack ~
2006 Story
Continued...
Wolf
supporters that were monitoring the Basin Butte Pack, heard the wolves and
saw their tracks, more often than the actual wolves. The pack howled to
communicate with each other when separated. At other times, they seem to
howl for the simple joy of being alive and together.

resembling a Monet painting, B171, panting hard, runs from some
unknown danger, back to her pups in the foothills. She was
inexperienced and odds were that she and her pack would not survive
the unfriendly human world where she had chosen to take up
housekeeping. |
