Washington Basin's colorful mining past was relayed by historian Tom Blanchard on our last outing of the summer. We explored. We noted all-terrain vehicles damage in fragile alpine areas and will be discussing that problem with the SNRA. We also huffed and puffed up to view Champion Lakes to the west.
