CAPE HORN WILD-
FLOWER BOUQUET

In early July, we went to one of our favorite places -- Cape Horn -- to see the wildflowers with botanist Michael Mancuso, Boise.

Cape Horn is a splendid place of vast meadows that begins 12 miles west of Stanley.

Marsh Creek and other streams here are wild salmon spawning and rearing waters.

In early July, Cape Horn was ablaze with wildflowers. We made several stops in different vegetation habitat. The scenery was gorgeous and we saw many delightful sandhill cranes.

Cape Horn is located on the Challis National Forest near the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.
