Hunter Creek Trail Work Day (Boulder Mountains)

Various years including July 1998 when BWCC trail coordinators Ellen Glaccum and Brad Blum led volunteers to improve Hunter Creek trail.

Workers rebuilt water bars, removed deadfall, improved log crossings, and helped stabilize stream banks.

Campfire rings were cleaned out and litter removed.

The steep, eroded, last half-mile to Hunter Creek Summit is a section which especially has problems with a creek running down the trail, and many water bars which need annual maintenance and/or reconstruction.
