BOULDER-WHITE CLOUD WILDERNESS - Idaho Representative
Mike Simpson's CIEDRA bill would designate over 319,000 acres of
Wilderness. In May 2008, two controversial SNRA land transfers
were dropped from the bill.

2008 - 2009
WOLVES NEED YOUR HELP! - In October 2008, gray
wolves were once again listed under the Endangered Species Act.
But, wolves still are not really safe or protected. By year's-end
in 2008, 94 Idaho wolves had been killed in government control
actions, including wolves in the local Galena and Basin Butte
Packs.

IDAHO COBALT PROJECT
- BWCC joined with Earthworks and appealed the Salmon-Challis
National Forest's decision on the new Idaho Cobalt Project west of
Salmon, Idaho. Our appeal was recently settled.
